Divaspati Singh is a Partner in the Funds and Corporate and Commercial Practice Groups in the Mumbai office.
Divaspati has worked on several transactions involving structuring, setting-up and documentation of domestic and overseas private equity funds, hedge funds, venture capital funds, real estate funds and mezzanine funds. He has also advised and assisted clients on mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, foreign investment laws and general corporate and regulatory advisory. His practice primarily focuses on advising Indian and offshore funds managers on structuring and setting up private funds.
Divaspati has been quoted in leading financial dailies such as Economic Times, Mint, Business Standard etc on his views pertaining to foreign investments and the Indian regulatory landscape.
