Khaitan & Co advised Entab Infotech Pvt Ltd (Entab) and its promoters in connection with the acquisition of Entab by Nelnet Business Services.

Entab provides ERP, learning management, and experiential learning solutions for India's K-12 education sector. Its flagship CampusCare® platform integrates key school functions, including admissions, fee management, school operations, real-time tracking, and parent engagement within a unified digital ecosystem. Following the introduction of India's National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, Entab expanded its offerings to include experiential learning solutions designed to support teaching and learning outcomes.

The Firm was involved in the following: (i) acting as legal counsel to the Client for the transaction (including negotiating, drafting and reviewing the definitive agreements with the acquirer); (ii) regulatory advice and support; (iii) execution of the transaction documents and closing assistance; and (iv) reviewing and finalising the employment agreement and the consultancy agreement.
