Draft National Deep Tech Startup Policy

With a view to address the challenges encountered by deep tech startups, the national consortium set up under the Prime Minister's Science, Technology, and Innovation Advisory Council (PM-STIAC) released the draft National Deep Tech Startup Policy (Policy) on 31 July 2023 for public consultation, seeking public feedback by 15 September 2023. The Policy has identified nine priority areas that require intervention to augment India's deep tech startup ecosystem. In this ERGO, we have analysed the issues and proposed changes to be brought upon implementation of the Policy.
