Sourav Dan

Sourav is a Counsel in the Intellectual Property (IP) Practice Group of the Firm and is based out of the Mumbai office. With more than a decade of experience in IP laws across various industry sectors, Sourav’s expertise extends to the entire gamut of IP laws with a focus on IP transactions, advisory, open-source software advisory and compliance, negotiating commercial IP agreements, contentious matters, technology laws, domestic and international IP prosecution.

He has advised domestic, and international companies in navigating IP laws including technology focused startups. He is also actively involved in INTA’s and ITechLaw’s policy/advocacy initiatives in India. He is part of the Well-known trademark committee of INTA, and ITech’s dispute resolution and intellectual property and AI committees of ITechLaw.
