Pavi Jain is a Counsel in the M&A and Private Equity practice group. She is a core member of the Firm’s Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) sector group and advises several clients on ESG matters.
Pavi manages the Firm’s association with the Indian Venture Capital Association (IVCA) and is a part of the Indian Venture Capital Association’s (IVCA) Climate Council

Pavi Jain has represented and advised the following clients
The Blackstone Group on several of its warehousing investments in India, including: (a) acquisition of Allcargo group’s warehousing business; (b) acquisition of the Warburg-Embassy warehousing platform; and (c) setting-up warehousing joint venture with the Hiranandani Group for pan-India warehousing platform
The Blackstone Group on several exits, including: (a) majority shareholding in CMS Info Systems Limited to Baring Private Equity Asia; (b) entire shareholding in Gateway Rail Freight Limited to Gateway Distriparks Limited; (c) majority shareholding of Gokaldas Exports Limited and conduct of public open offer process; (d) significant minority stake in MTAR Technologies Private Limited; and (e) entire shareholding in CMS IT Services Private Limited
The Blackstone Group on its proposed investments in: (a) financial services and asset management companies; and (b) global IT services company
Apax Partners on: (a) an ongoing exit from a leading surgical manufacturing company; (b) the bid to acquire significant majority in JB Chemicals and Pharmaceuticals Limited (a listed pharmaceutical company); and (c) acquisition of GlobalLogic, Inc. from WestBridge Capital, New Atlantic Ventures, New Enterprise Associates and Sequoia Capital

Charoen Pokphand Group (Thailand) on the bid process for its proposed acquisition of Metro Cash & Carry’s India business
