Gautam Suseel is a Partner in the M&A and Private Equity Practice Group in the Mumbai office.

Gautam represents private equity firms, foreign investors and corporate clients on a range of cross-border and domestic corporate and commercial transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, strategic ventures, private equity investments, and routine advisory on Indian corporate and exchange control regulations, and doing business in India.

Gautam Suseel has represented and advised the following clients

Reliance Industries Limited and Viacom 18 Media on its strategic joint venture with The Walt Disney Company to merge the digital streaming and television assets of Disney and Viacom18 in India.

Blackstone Group on its (i) investment to set up greenfield warehousing parks in Bangalore, pursuant to acquisitions from: (a) the Embassy Group; and (b) the AllCargo Group; (ii) acquisition of pre-leased warehousing assets from the Anant Raj Group (TARC); and (iii) joint venture with a local developer to set up a greenfield warehousing park in Nagpur.

Brookfield Group on arrangements with Bharti Group re the joint venture for identified commercial assets.

Goldman Sachs Group on its exit from Good Host Spaces, India's largest student housing platform.

Bank of Baroda on the merger of Baroda Asset Management and BNP Paribas Asset Management India, and the consequent transfer of mutual fund schemes, to form a strategic asset management joint venture in India, with assets under management of over USD 3 Billion.

Web Werks group of companies and its promoters, on a strategic partnership with Iron Mountain Inc in relation to its data centre co-location business.

Ola Electric and its Promoter, on the Series C Funding, led by Falcon Edge, Softbank, and other private equity funds / HNI investors.

Famy Group on its strategic investment from Mylan Inc., towards Famy’s life sciences business.

ICG Strategic Equity Advisors LLC on its acquisition of private equity portfolio investments held by Standard Chartered Private Equity and its affiliates in India.
