Amicus India Capital Partners LLP - Setting up their second fund in India and a feeder fund in Mauritius

Khaitan & Co acted as the legal counsel and advised Amicus India Capital Partners LLP in the setup of their second fund in India and the setup of a feeder fund in Mauritius, including negotiations with key domestic and international institutional investors for their investment in the India Fund and Mauritius Fund.

The fund will focus on providing growth capital to companies across sectors such as consumer, financial services, healthcare, technology & business services and specialty manufacturing, with a preference for businesses benefiting from India’s structural growth drivers and digital or formalization-led transformation. The fund has announced its final closing having raised USD 214 million (approx. INR 1,766 crores) from leading domestic and international investors, including sovereign funds, fund of funds, insurance companies, family offices, and high-net-worth individuals.
