BackKhaitan & Co successfully advised and represented KEC International Ltd in a Writ Petition before the Hon’ble Gauhati High Court, Itanagar Bench, seeking a refund of tax assessments for the assessment periods of 2015-16 to 2017-18 and interest on the delayed payment of refund for the AY 2013-14 and 2014-15, as per the provisions of the Arunachal Pradesh Goods Tax Act, 2005 (‘Act’).
The firm was responsible for formulation of strategy, case assessment, drafting and filing of counter affidavits and written submissions as well as arguing before the Hon'ble High Court of Gauhati, Itanagar Bench on behalf of KEC International Ltd.
